An experience unlike any other. Hike in the water, stone river bed, and sandy alcoves provided by the Virgin River waters while gazing upwards at the 1,000 foot cliff walls of Zion Canyon. Specialized water shoes, neoprene socks, a walking stick, and dry pants for cooler weather are provided.

Note:

Activity Conditions: This hike involves trekking through the river, with water levels reaching up to waist-height or higher in select sections.

Gear: Red Mountain Outdoor Recreation will provide water shoes, neoprene socks, walking pole, and dry pants for cooler weather conditions. Please bring a long-sleeved shirt or light jacket. You may also bring sandals to change into after the hike.

Caution: Only bring electronics if they are waterproof or if you have a dry bag to protect them.

Distance: Covering a total of 5.5 miles, which includes the journey to and from the entry point into the river.

The trip will be called off in the event of unsafe conditions or if the group size falls below the minimum requirement of two people.
